Just a few interesting links. Not really updated in a while.
Vegetarian Resource Group If you've ever considered passing on the flesh of animals, but didn't because you were afraid of what it could do to your metabolism, check this out. If you have a friend or loved one who is a vegetarian, this site can help make things clear for you. I recommend highly. Especially since I don't eat meat.
The Eagle Cam You've undoubtedly heard of the Fish Cam. Fish in a bowl you can see in your living room. The office cam. You can see that in just about any office. The (Girl's name) cam. If you really want to see a girl in her underwear, find a girlfried. If you have a girlfriend, why do you want to see more? Well, this is a Cam that actually lets you see something truly interesting that you can't really find on your own. These eagles are REAL. Most of the time, I don't see much. But the times that I do....
Taxes Erie County Tax Assessment site. Very Interesting.
Beer Okay, so I like beer. This site challenged even me. Just a fun link.
John Dvorak Here's a columnist who calls it like he sees it, without pulling punches. I don't always agree with some of his opinions, but that's okay. He seems to have his finger on the pulse of the computing industry. Check him out.
The Weather Channel I only check the weather when I'm planning a trip. The rest of the time, I take it as it comes. This site is heavy on graphics, but is very informative. They're even right sometimes. <G>
Tom's Hardware What do you think? PC hardware.
Intellectual Capital Articles from various columnists/journalists. I go here sometimes when I just want something to read.
Robert Bruce Thompson Associated in some way with Jerry Pournelle. Articles on trials and tribulations assciated with building/maintaining PCs.
Heinlein FAQ Robert Anson Heinlein. One of my favorite authors. Don't let the movie Starship Troopers fool you. The books are truly intellectually stimulating and exciting. The SF world is truly blessed to have had an author of this caliber in it's ranks. He will be truly missed.
WS_FTP If you are looking for a Win32 FTP client, check this one out. Recommended by a coworker, I got this for my sister so she could see if it met her needs to maintain her site. I like it and I don't generally like Windows software. (I'm a command line-oriented geek.)
